Crisis Cuisine: Adapting Food for Resilience

This workshop invited participants to collectively explore ideas around future food systems in the context of crises — from the COVID-19 pandemic to the growing challenges of climate change.

Bringing together voices from different regions of the country, the session reflected on the shifting priorities of food journeys during uncertain times, focusing on themes of food stability, access, and continuity over notions of authenticity. Through conversations and mapping exercises, participants considered how communities adapt their food cultures and practices in response to instability and catastrophe.
